Chapter 70: The Black Skull Star Pirate Gang
Big Boss Builds Infrastructure in the Interstellar Era
“Village Chief Yun, look! Over there!”
They hadn’t walked far outside the tribe when Ge Miao suddenly shouted excitedly. Following the direction of his pointing finger, they saw Amos locked in fierce battle with a flock of brilliantly colored, flapping Danghu Chickens.
Standing amidst the chickens, Amos wore a cold expression. The young man stood tall and straight, swinging his club with impressive skill—almost every three swings brought down a chicken.
Yun Qimu stood where she was and met his gaze from afar for a second. Then, decisively, she drew her little golden axe, gritted her teeth, and joined the fray.
Ha! That damned mainframe really is up to its tricks. This flock of chickens is way bigger than the ones I ran into back in Earth Village—there must be at least seventy or eighty here.
And the Tengu Tribe is a full day’s journey from Earth Village. If the chickens have run all the way here, there might be even more scattered around Earth Village’s surroundings.
Hmph, the more she thought about it, the angrier she got. Determined to get whatever loot she could, Yun Qimu’s little golden axe transformed into a big golden axe. Under Ge Miao’s wide-eyed, utterly shocked gaze, she started slaughtering chickens left and right—one swing, one chicken, her movements even swifter than someone taking out little kids with a punch.
Amos felt himself spurred on. He gripped his club tighter, his dark eyes shining with determination. With a swing and a thud, he attacked with even more vigor.
Yep, snatching the mobs is always more fun.

……
Listening to the constant stream of notification sounds in her ears, Yun Qimu finally felt her anger subside a little.
And so, the two of them fought valiantly against the Danghu Chicken flock, while Ge Miao squatted nearby, playing with mud, looking pitifully lonely and left out.
He wanted to join Earth Village too. He wanted to fight chickens and get treasure chests, maybe even draw something good.
He could totally handle these chickens too…
“Help! Somebody help me, please—!”
A sharp, terrified female voice made Ge Miao jump. He dropped the little metal stick he’d been using to poke the mud, stood up, gripped his dagger, and turned toward the source of the sound with a serious expression.
“What’s going on?”
After a bloody battle, Yun Qimu had finally vented some of her anger by killing over fifty Danghu Chickens. Her eyes still held a lingering edge of killing intent, making it hard for anyone to meet her gaze.
At this moment, she was lazily wiping her little golden axe with a white handkerchief, glancing over with an air of nonchalance as she casually asked the question.
Amos silently followed behind her. Seeing that she wasn’t in a hurry to open the treasure chests, his cold, youthful face took on a thoughtful look. He lowered his eyes and, imitating her, took out a scrap of cloth to carefully wipe his big wooden club.
Ge Miao was stunned for a moment, then shook his head in confusion. “I don’t know either. It sounds like someone’s calling for help, but all the berserk beasts near our tribe have already been cleared out. There shouldn’t be any danger.”
He scratched his head, still puzzled. “Should I go take a look?”
“No need. They’re coming this way.”
Sure enough, just as Yun Qimu finished speaking, a disheveled, petite young lady came running out from a narrow path lined with loosely stacked stones, looking panicked. Three burly, fierce-looking men were chasing after her.
When the young lady saw people ahead, her violet eyes lit up. She was about to call for help, but then she caught sight of Yun Qimu’s face.
Her eyes instantly dimmed and filled with even more urgency and fear.
“Run! Hurry, run—!”
She waved frantically at Yun Qimu, trying to warn her.
But the three thuggish men had already spotted them.
Their greedy eyes locked onto Yun Qimu, and they leered, practically drooling.
“Well, well, looks like we’ve found ourselves another noble lady.”
“Hahaha… Today’s our lucky day! Who’d have thought we’d run into two beauties at once in the northern district of Exile Star?”
“Quick, grab them! The chief specifically asked for the first one, but this prettier one here—she’s perfect for our second-in-command.”
“Yeah, yeah, grab them both…”
Hearing their filthy words, Ge Miao’s handsome face turned red with anger. He glared at them furiously. “Who are you people? How dare you try to kidnap someone in broad daylight!”
“Hey, kid, you’d better mind your own business, or we’ll snatch you up and sell you too.” The bald, burly man in front glanced at Ge Miao’s small frame and laughed loudly.
His body was massive and muscular, his greasy face covered in layers of fat. When he narrowed his eyes, a wicked glint shone through—enough to make a child cry.
Ge Miao’s mind reeled, and he glared even harder. “You’re star pirates—!”
“Hahaha… Not bad, kid from a tiny tribe. Sharp eyes. You’re a bit dark, but not bad looking. Might fetch a good price.” The bald man leered at Ge Miao.
“Yeah, grab him too,” the other two men echoed with nasty grins.
“That cold-looking kid isn’t bad either. That blue hair is all fluffy and smooth—looks just like those noble ladies’ pet wolfdogs. Let’s grab him too. He’ll sell for a high price in Chaos City.”
“Hahaha… Right, grab them all!”
“What the hell?!” Ge Miao was stunned by their brazen attitude—they wanted to snatch anyone they laid eyes on, and acted like it was perfectly justified.
Amos’s already icy expression grew even colder, his gaze sharp enough to freeze the three men solid.
But the three star pirates showed no sign of danger, swaggering toward them, eyeing them like livestock.
Meanwhile, the petite young lady they’d been chasing had stumbled her way to Yun Qimu’s side.
Her beautiful violet eyes were brimming with tears as she looked anxiously at Yun Qimu, her reddened eyes full of worry and frustration. “Why aren’t you running? Those three star pirates have energy guns—they’re really dangerous! Even Agu Lai couldn’t beat them!”
“Hm?” Yun Qimu looked down at the flustered young lady, who was bouncing around like a startled rabbit. Her fair, delicate skin and the frilly dress—now torn and smeared with mud—made it obvious she was, like Yun Qimu, a noble girl fallen on hard times.
Yun Qimu’s lips curled into a faint smile. “What’s your name? How did you end up on Exile Star?”"
