And as if falling in wasn’t bad enough, there were traps inside the pit, and soon the wails and howls of the ghostly skeletons echoed through the air.

The skeletons in the pit were dealt with by Duoya and the arrow towers. The ones that spawned outside were lured by Su You using mini-bombs to a certain spot, where Meike used up most of his mana to cast a spell called “Flame Cage,” trapping all the skeletons inside.

Inside the flame cage, the skeletons were constantly burned. Their health didn’t drop quickly, but it was steadily decreasing. As long as the cage held, it was only a matter of time before they died.

As for the ones left outside, not caught in the cage, Lyle and Lake quickly finished them off.

Once the stragglers were dealt with, they turned their attention to the monsters inside the cage.

Yue, who’d been brought along to “farm contribution,” did his best to attack, but his water bullets were too weak. By the time all the skeletons were dead, he hadn’t managed to kill many.
