Chapter 174: The Great Magic—Drink

Picking Up Trash in Another World and Bringing It Back to the Apocalypse

Sai H watched as the four earth giants emerged, trembling uncontrollably. Even though she had just boasted that she would unleash her anger, in reality, she was just putting on a front—she couldn’t control these things at all!

“M-M-Master, if you summon them here, I—I’ll die!”

Sai H was terrified. She watched in horror as the four giants devoured Rui Zhi on the ground, then started lumbering towards her. She staggered backward in panic.

Sang Chu stepped forward. Tu You crouched on her shoulder and said, “Sang Sang, just give him some flowers.”

“Mm, go check on that little fox. After swapping souls with me, she was abandoned and badly injured.”

“Okay!”

The moment Rui Zhi absorbed her soul, the little fox had already swapped souls with Sang Chu. That’s why Sang Chu didn’t need to spend much mental energy to control Rui Zhi—she could counteract her easily.

But there was a price: the little fox was now listless again.

The four towering earth giants lumbered forward, looking menacing. Just as Sai H thought she was doomed, Sang Chu casually took out four fresh roses and waved them. “Want some flowers?”

The earth giants stopped in their tracks, their eyes lighting up as drool dripped from the corners of their mouths.

Sang Chu smiled and tossed the roses to them. “As long as you behave, I can give you even more roses.”

As she spoke, she took out four more. Sai H’s eyes widened—wait, wait, even this works?!

“Roooar…”

After the earth giants happily devoured the flowers, one of them walked up to Sang Chu and rubbed against her obediently, just like a family dog.

Seeing this, Sai H’s scalp tingled. What kind of person had she provoked?

She could even use roses to tame these terrifying creatures?

The earth giants were indeed scary, but compared to the value of roses, they were nothing!

“Master, look at this.”

Meng Wei’an handed over a pitch-black token. Sang Chu took it and looked at Sai H. “What is this?”

Sai H looked as if she’d aged eighty years, her voice trembling. “Th-this is a pursuit token. The witches of Lixin City’s Witch Clan issued it to the Dark Witch Alliance, saying they want to hunt down anyone connected to the Dark Ferret Forest.”

“Everyone?”

Sai H nodded. “Yes.”

“Do you know why?”

Sai H replied, “I heard their witch academy was blown up, and everything inside was destroyed. Apparently, it was done by a woman named Sang Chu, but they don’t know where she is, so they’re lying in ambush in the forest, waiting to catch anyone who enters.”

Hearing this, Sang Jingwen stepped forward. “Sang Sang, your puppet has been discovered?”

“I’m afraid so,” Sang Chu said. “Sai H, how many Dark Witch squads are there in the Dark Ferret Forest?”

“I only know of five. I’m not sure about the rest—the forest is just too big.”

Sang Chu tossed her a demon core. “Take this and recover your strength. I’m heading into the forest. If anyone gets in our way, just have the doggies eat them.”

“Y-yes, Master.”

Sai H understood now—her current master, Sang Chu, was the very woman the Witch Clan wanted to hunt down.

Sang Chu said, “Everyone, get in the carriage. I need to rest up. The Dark Ferret Forest isn’t safe.”

“Rooaar, roooar~”

The four earth giants, afraid Sang Chu would put them away again, kept rubbing against her like giant dogs. Sang Chu couldn’t help but smile at the sight.

“Alright, get out of the way. I won’t put you away for now, but before we leave the forest, you have to guard the carriage. If anyone approaches, eat them. When I come out, I’ll reward you with a whole basket of flowers!”

“Rooaar, roooar~~~”

The giants grinned, baring their teeth, and one even gently nudged Sang Chu with his head, lifting her onto his back and carrying her to the carriage.

Sai H was stunned by how dog-like these earth giants were.

But right now, she didn’t dare defy anyone. Sang Chu had just forced her to keep casting spells, draining her life force. All she wanted now was to recover as soon as possible.

She crushed the demon core in her hand, and a surge of power instantly restored her youth—she went from looking like an eighty-year-old to a stunning beauty in a flash.

“Thank you, Master.”

“You’re welcome. You lead the way. Unless there’s a fork in the road, the doggies will guard the carriage.”

Sai H had originally wanted to ride in the carriage, but now she didn’t even have the right to do so.

She was the only one without a clear allegiance, so she was made to lead the way.

The others followed Sang Chu into the carriage.

The carriage looked ordinary from the outside, but inside it was surprisingly spacious, with plenty of guest rooms!

As soon as Lu Ming and Mu Xue boarded, they removed their enchanted clothing.

“What’s wrong with you?”

Yi Ping collapsed onto a lounge chair, his face pale. “Not good. I suffered backlash. Now, whenever I use my power, it hurts like hell. This is the first time I’ve ever felt pain like this—it’s unbearable!”

His body wasn’t healed yet. After being hit by that magical attack, he hurt all over, especially from the backlash of his own power.

Sang Jingwen was the same. Once inside the carriage, out of sight, he could no longer hold back the blood in his mouth. Mu Xue hurried over. “Brother, you—”

Sang Jingwen weakly shook his head, signaling that he was fine, but he couldn’t speak anymore.

At that moment, Granny Xiang noticed Sang Chu, who had been silent since boarding. She hurried over, only to see Sang Chu’s pale, trembling hands.

“Sang Sang?”

“Sang Sang!!”

Granny Xiang unconsciously raised her voice, finally drawing everyone’s attention to Sang Chu sitting in the corner. They all rushed over.

Yi Ping asked, “What’s wrong with her?”

Xi Rui said, “She must have been injured during the soul swap, and then again when controlling that witch.”

“Pfft—”

A mouthful of blood spurted out. Xi Rui quickly wiped the blood from her lips, while Tu You panted anxiously, “It’s okay, it’s okay, now that the blood is out, she’ll get better.”

He was just as worried—who knew what would happen!

Meng Wei’an hurriedly gave Sang Chu a potion. “Do you need to rest in the carriage?”

Sang Chu weakly shook her head. “No, I—I want to go back to my room and rest. Don’t leave the carriage, no matter what happens outside. With the earth giants here, everything will be fine. The magic university is dangerous. If I’m not here, don’t go out, and don’t try to save anyone…”

Before she could finish, blood kept pouring from her mouth. Sang Jingwen’s eyes reddened with worry. “No, you can’t! I’m here, so just rest. Rabbit, quickly help Sang Sang to her room.”

“Oh, okay!!”"
