Chapter 204: The Grand Magic—Xi Yao

Picking Up Trash in Another World and Bringing It Back to the Apocalypse

A month later.

Sang Jingwen and Yi Ping had just come out from inside, but as soon as they did, Sang Jingwen saw Mu Xue’s magic flickering non-stop. The pillar of light was trembling like a spider’s web, as if it would shatter at any moment. He turned to look at Lu Minli, who had been standing guard for who knows how long.

“Minli, what’s going on with Xiaoxue’s magic?”

Looking at Sang Jingwen, Lu Minli replied with a frown, “When I came out, Xiaoxue’s magic was already like this. There are even more spiderwebs than before. Sang, I think maybe Xiaoxue encountered something during her cultivation. I’m not sure either. All we can do is wait for her to wake up on her own—or for her magic to completely shatter.”

Yi Ping said, “But it doesn’t look dangerous. Is my sister really okay?”

“It’s Xue You who said so. He said her cultivation has a protective effect. Even if she’s unconscious inside her magic, her body will be fine. It’s just her state of mind that’s affected. Once she gets through it, she’ll be alright.”

Sang Jingwen sighed in relief. “That’s good. How long until we reach our destination?”

“About half a day. During this time, Ah Chu has been arranging for people to bring all sorts of things into the Rose Manor—magic items, magic stones, magical beasts, all sorts of things. Once we’re inside, everyone can finally rest up and wait for the next step.”

Yi Ping glanced at the still-unconscious Mu Xue. “So what about Xiaoxue? She can’t just wake up on her own like this, right?”

Lu Minli replied, “Ah Chu said that if Xiaoxue still hasn’t woken up by the time we reach the Rose Manor, we’ll just put her in the guest room to rest. It’s safer there. That’s why, during this time, Ah Chu has been keeping watch and hunting outside.”

“Alright then, I’ll go help too! I can team up with Little Huo!”

Sang Jingwen saw Yi Ping about to dash off and grabbed his hand. “Wait, I’ll go with you. Minli, don’t worry. Xiaoxue will be fine. Ah Yi and I will go help with the hunting.”

“Okay, I’ll stay here and watch over her.”

After patting Lu Minli on the shoulder, Sang Jingwen and Yi Ping hurried off together.

...

“Whoa! What are all these?!”

Yi Ping’s eyes widened at the mountain of magical beasts piled up before him.

“These are all the things Ah Chu and I hunted during this time. I’ll sort them out and sell them once we get inside.”

As Xi Rui sorted through the materials, Yi Ping walked over and stared at the magical beasts with arrows through their chests. “Wow, you’re amazing! One shot, one kill, huh?”

“Don’t flatter me!”

Xi Rui picked up a magical beast and nudged Yi Ping aside. Just then, Meng Weian, C Fei, and Liao Tian came over with Sang Chu, each carrying something that looked like a wolf.

Sang Jingwen hurried over to help. “Sang Sang, you went hunting too?”

“Yeah, lately there have been a lot of magic wolves showing up. The Rose Manor’s defenses are tight, so I took some people out to hunt. Ri Yi and Naishen are behind us, helping carry the wolves.”

Yi Ping looked at Xi Rui curiously. “Sis, what’s Xi Rui doing over there?”

“She’s skinning them. The pelts of magic wolves are the best material for making magical items. Their blood and bones are valuable too. Xi Rui is picking out the older ones for their pelts and fur, and some bones for materials.”

Yi Ping shuddered, goosebumps rising. “Ugh, that’s a little creepy. I’m not looking anymore. I’ll go help move the rest!”

Just as he was about to leave, he suddenly realized something. “Wait, Sis, don’t you have a storage ring? Why are you carrying them one by one?”

Sang Chu laughed. “Try carrying one and you’ll see.”

“Alright!”

Without thinking, Yi Ping rushed over, full of youthful bravado. Sang Jingwen couldn’t help but laugh at his antics.

Sang Chu watched Sang Jingwen struggle with one of the wolves and smiled as she took it onto her own shoulders. “Bro, I’ve been carrying these for a while. You probably haven’t gotten used to the weight yet. Why don’t you start with the smaller ones? By tonight, you’ll be able to handle the big ones.”

Sang Chu made it look easy, but after carrying just one, Sang Jingwen’s arms were already shaking.

“Sang Sang, this stuff looks pretty scary. Are you sure you want to use it for crafting and not eating?”

“Don’t worry, bro. We won’t eat them. Once we’re done processing, we’ll have a big stockpile. When the time comes, if you want, I can take you traveling to other worlds—just safer ones.”

The magic continent was still very dangerous. If it hadn’t been for Qin Simian, that sly merchant, lending her the punishment whip, she might not have made it this time.

Sang Jingwen nodded. “Whatever you decide, I’ll support you. For now, I’ll help move these wolves inside!”

...

“Oh my god, I’ve never seen so many blooming flowers at the Magic Academy!”

The Rose Manor was the place where roses were cultivated, almost like a royal garden.

It was also a sacred place. The entrance was a stone gate carved with exquisite rose patterns, flanked by stone pillars entwined with blooming white roses.

Inside, every building was covered in a sea of roses. From afar, the architecture looked like it was floating in a floral ocean.

Xi Rui said, “Ah Chu, I’ll go knock on the door.”

Sang Chu raised her hand. “Since this is a special place, I’ll do it.”

She stepped forward, and the large doors opened. Standing there was a man in a white tailcoat, his long hair tied back, silver strands falling loosely, exuding an air of elegance.

He looked like a nobleman, his expression calm but extremely polite.

“Welcome, honored guests. The master has been waiting for you.”

Sang Chu smiled at the elegant man. “Then please, lead the way.”

“Of course.”

The group followed the butler through the main building.

The winding garden paths were filled with roses. In the sunlight, tiny flower fairies danced among the blossoms, occasionally glancing curiously at the newcomers.

After passing through the sea of roses, they finally saw the castle’s grand doors.

“Welcome, everyone. I am the master of the Rose Manor—Rose.”

The castle doors opened, and standing there was a woman in a white court dress. Her skin was pale as snow, her long white hair cascading down her back. Her face was covered by a white veil, giving her an air of mysterious beauty."
