Jing’s mother and father couldn’t believe it for a moment. They couldn’t fathom why, in this harsh world, anyone would deliberately use bombs to attack their villa.

“They got the bombs from where? It can’t be just to scare people, right? Where did you get this information? Is it reliable?” Jing’s mother anxiously asked.

Jing Shu explained the situation with Wang Dazhao and asked, “Who would most want our country to descend into chaos? It must be the United States. The more chaos there is, the better for them. Previously, their spies in the U.S. were all exposed, and now they’re using their own people, secretly bringing in lots of bombs to incite people. Otherwise, how could our country’s regulations allow these things to exist?”

Bombs are obviously most powerful once ignited, but what about those that aren’t ignited...

“Jing Shu, how do you plan to block them? We’re only three people, and we don’t have the villa’s traps. Maybe we should wait for Yang Yang from the Armed Police Brigade to bring reinforcements!” Jing’s father suggested.

“Dad, you drive to the south alley. If you encounter a group of people, they’re definitely them. Just run them over a few times. Some are coming by car, some by bicycle. I’ll set up some big rocks and traps on the other side to hinder them. Don’t worry, I won’t show myself. It’s so dark at night, they won’t see me anyway.”

After considering, Jing Shu decided to deceive her parents into going to a safe place. Although her parents had been drinking Divine Spring for half a year, at most they were just slightly stronger.

Moreover, once she took action, there would be no hesitation. This time, she didn’t plan to tell her parents about the Magic Cube Space. It was better to let them live peacefully in this apocalypse.

In Jing Shu’s words, her parents bore most of the responsibility while her own danger was minimal. It felt like Jing Shu had successfully placed her hopes on them. After her parents left her at the place Jing Shu requested, BYD Song sped away. “Jing Shu, be very careful. Don’t be stubborn. We’ll stay in contact at all times!”

Jing Shu and her parents agreed to check in every three minutes in their group chat by sending a number to indicate everything was okay. This reassured them.

Jing Shu was panting heavily with heat. She saw the WeChat shared locations with Wang Dazhao constantly approaching each other, speeding through two streets to find the intersection.

This place was remote, rarely visited before the apocalypse, with few vehicles at the intersection.

The sky had no stars, only a faint red glow piercing the darkness. Now, Wucheng was like a dead city, unable to see any light. Maybe the scientists were right—darkness had saved the Earth. It was hard to imagine how humans could survive with sunlight still present and temperatures over 50°C.

Across the street, people had set up two minivans, crammed with over a hundred people, overloaded by a bit. Their speed wasn’t fast.

Therefore, according to Jing Shu’s plan, simply placing big stones wouldn’t work. Even without sunlight now, cars still had headlights and high beams, so they wouldn’t stupidly crash into them.

The only maneuver was for Jing Shu to crouch in the drivers’ blind spot, wait for the cars to get close, and then shoot her conical killing devices to cause the cars to collide in pairs, making the passengers suffer.

But even with these measures, it wasn’t enough. Letting one escape would be a future problem! Jing Shu narrowed her eyes. Whoever dared to act against her would not escape.

Jing Shu found the tree saplings she had planted before the apocalypse on both sides of the desolate road. Now, only dead saplings remained. After collecting about a dozen, Jing Shu cleared some space in her Magic Cube Space to place them aside.

Next, Jing Shu began a series of detailed preparations... She always believed that one person’s strength was weak, but their wisdom was limitless.

“I’m inside the first car. The person with the bombs is Su San from She Tian, and in the second car is a tall, strong man holding a black box. Be careful! We’re almost there!”

“Once the car is hit and stops, jump out through the window and run quickly. If you’re too slow, you might die.” Jing Shu instructed.

Jing Shu could see a faint glow approaching. They were almost there!

Her heart raced as adrenaline surged through her body. She felt excited as the lights grew closer, her eyes brightening.

“Running too slow might kill you?” Wang Dazhao didn’t quite understand, but since Jing Shu insisted, he decided to jump out as soon as the car stopped. The minivans had all their windows open, and he was sitting by the window.

Fully prepared, Jing Shu hid behind a rudimentary stone formation. She watched as two cars approached at about 50 km/h. “Now!”

“Uncle Zhang, speed up! You guys in front, speed up! Are you driving at a turtle’s pace? We’ve been running for so long, how much longer is it?” Zhang Qiang impatiently sat in the passenger seat, holding a walkie-talkie and muttering complaints:

“I don’t know why Shangguan Jun thinks so much about it. A broken villa isn’t that much bigger than the Armed Police’s oil base. He insisted on recommending to the boss that we take so many people to bomb that villa just to be safe. I say we should have just quietly bomb it ourselves. Who would know, right? This damn heat is killing me!”

“Hey, I know some of you bastards have police undercover agents, but so what? Now you won’t have time to ambush us at that residential area.”

Master Zhang pressed the accelerator pedal harder, “Brother Gang, this is already the fastest we can go. Our vehicle is overloaded with twenty people.”

Just then!

Master Zhang and Zhang Qiang suddenly saw multiple conical giant stones flying towards them!

“Boom!” “Boom boom boom!”

Then came the piercing sound of brakes, but it was already too late. Several huge stones struck the cars. One stone even penetrated the windshield, directly hitting the overloaded vehicle. Suddenly, the car was smashed by a conical stone, killing five or six people instantly.

“What the hell? Where did all these stones come from?”

Both cars screeched to a halt due to the sudden braking, and multiple stones crashed into them, causing them to flip over and glide for a short distance.

Zhang Qiang’s feet trembled, and a foul smell wafted from his pants. He looked at the people inside, their faces obscured by the stones, and saw Master Zhang’s upper body completely gone!

The car erupted in chaos, with screams echoing continuously. Many couldn’t even move.

“Don’t crush me! I can’t get out!”

“Ge Laozi made me climb out first!”

Due to the overload and sudden emergency braking, the cars rolled over, with people stacked and pressed together on one side, some suffocating, and others being thrown out.

“What do you think this is? It’s not over yet?” In the darkness, Jing Shu laughed happily. Today, she had invested a lot and hoped she wouldn’t be disappointed.
